In our school, we are on the journey of learning about and incorporating the Reggio-inspired Approach of Early Childhood Education. Abby has been a wonderful help to us!  She has done some in-services with us and has provided us with some very valuable and useful information. She not only “informs” us as to the principles of effective Reggio-inspired practice but also takes time to listen to our thoughts and needs.  She observes and makes suggestions of things we could improve on or do differently. At our last in-service she sat with individual groups of teachers and helped them tweak current lessons or plan new lessons.  Everyone felt energized and ready to take “next steps” after the workshop! Her easy-going, natural teaching style as well as her knowledge of Reggio-inspired practice makes an in-service or workshop very “user” friendly, fun, engaging and worthwhile! Thank you so much Abby!  We are enjoying our partnership and work with you and look forward to future “next steps!”

“Abby Bucher has been an amazing resource for our teachers and leadership team, from inspiring us to think deeper from a Reggio-inspired lens to leading our staff to create spaces that welcome and highlight the children living in our classrooms each day. Her presentation style is engaging, warm, and allows listeners to step away with practical and applicable changes or ideas to implement immediately within the walls of their classroom. Her passion is contagious and I look forward to continuing to walk alongside her in our own journey with the Reggio Emilia philosophy.”

“You have the power of showing love. That’s why you are a doctor of teaching. You make people feel better by loving them.”

“Abby attended a community review with a team at our museum to discuss the development of a future preschool exhibition. Abby was invited as she has many years of experience teaching young children and a thorough understanding of child development. Abby’s contributions and feedback will help our team consider how we can ensure we are creating a fun, safe, inclusive, and engaging exhibit for young learners and their families. I am so glad Abby was present to share her expertise. It was evident that Abby is intentional when considering how to create unique learning opportunities for young children that connect with their own personal story and journey. The team appreciated her contributions and insight. “
